History in the making - 4/5

Director Jules Dassin died this week. He just happened to direct a film I wrote about a few weeks ago -- The Naked City -- featuring one of the most extensive on-location New York shoots of almost any film before 1960. Now you have no excuse not to go rent it this weekend!
